Today, we’re going to talk about 3D printing for kids, parents, and grandparents, because everyone plays with train sets – it doesn’t matter where you buy them. However, not all the pieces always fit together easily, so I modified an existing rail model and created this. Typically, one side is “male-female,” but I modified the model to a “male-male -> plug-plug” or “female-female -> socket-socket” version.
The model compensates for surface irregularities (e.g., carpet) while also connecting wooden tracks that are at non-connectable angles.
