I was looking for good serial terminal which makes timestamps, creates logs etc. and I found very good ScriptComminucator!
Why? I try to explain you in this pictures article.
Main screen:
Appearance is easy and well-arranged. If you want to send asci character, you choose asci, but you can choose hex, bin, uint8, uint16, uint32, int8, int16, int32.
First screen of settings – serial port:
You can choose various baudrate, on the menu are preset 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200 or custom e.g. 921600 why not?
Sockets:
ScriptCommunicator can monitor TCP or UDP.
Sequences:
You can set sequences which you want to use.
Scripts:

Find text in console:
Do you have a lot of messages through terminal? You can find your “message” through this bookmark.
Asci, hex, bin bookmarks:
If you choose “hex view” or another in settings, you can easily switch to another view.
Mixed bookmarks:
And the “mixed bookmark” is wonderful.
