PHOTOGALLERY: STM32F7-discovery – STM32F769 with display and ESP8266 supported

STMicroelectronics released a new development board with STM32F769NIH6 (ARM Cortex-M7, 2MB FLASH, 512+16+4KB RAM) microcontroller.

STM32F769 supports up to 216MHz clock frequency and up to 462 DMIPS in benchmark test.
STM32F7-discovery contains ST-LINK/V2-1.

4″ capacitive touch LCD display with MIPI? DSI connector is mounted on the board. It also contains SAI audio codec, two audio line jacks, one for input and one for output, stereo speaker outputs, Four ST MEMS microphones on DFSDM inputs, Two SPDIF RCA input and output connectors.

The board includes two push buttons (user and reset) and also 512-Mbit Quad-SPI Flash memory and 128-Mbit SDRAM.

You can connect microSD card through microSD card slot.

If you want to use WI-FI connection, the board contains connector for ESP8266 (pinout compatible) or you can use it for Ext-EEP daughterboard connector. On the board are USB OTG HS with Micro-AB connector and Ethernet connector compliant with IEEE-802.3-2002

The board can be supplied through five power supply options:

– ST LINK/V2-1

– USB HS connector

– 5 V from RJ45 (Power Over Ethernet)

– 5 V from Arduino? or external connector

– USB charger

Power Over Ethernet based on IEEE 802.3af (Powered Device, 48V to 5V, 3W)

The price is 72,48 ? (mouser.com).
