Samsung released a new device into Samsung ARTIK? IoT platform, single-board computer called Eagleye 530s with ARTIK 530s processor.
Samsung ARTIK? is platform which is focused on Internet of Things (IoT).
This platform combines modules, cloud service and security. Now, here is single-board computer – Eagleye 530s.
This platform already contains GrovePi+, the board (shield, hat) which is designed for RaspberryPi you can connect a lot of sensors, modules and interfaces.
DFRobot offers similar platform for Arduino Uno and other called Gravity. [video]
As mentioned above, the single-board computer contains Samsung ARTIK 530s processor (Quad core ARM Cortex A9@1.2GHz).
There is 1 GB RAM SoM, 4GB FLASH eMMC v4.5, Gigabit interface with RJ45 connector, WiFi IEEE802.11a/b/g/n Dual Band SISO(2.4G/5G), 2x USB 2.0, 1x micro USB OTG and slot for microSD card.
Eagleye 530s also contains Bluetooth BLE 4.2 802.15.4 (ZigBee/Thread), MIPI camera interface, HDMI output and 40 pin header.
Eagleye 530s can be powered frough micro USB OTG or DC connector (5V). Ubuntu OS will be available for Eagleye 530s.
The dimension of board is 87mm x 58.5mm x 20mm and weight 50g.
