UP board or UP? (UP squared) board, these are familiar names of single-board computers.

UP team comming with kickstarter campaign for a new single-board computer called UP core.

UP core is designed for using a lot of GPIO’s and peripherals, it contains 100-pin expansion board.

The processor is Intel? Atom? x5-Z8350 (QuadCore 1.44/1.92Ghz 64 bit CPU), UP core comes with 2/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB eMMC 5.0, 2 x USB 2.0 connected to pin header, USB 3.0, HDMI, DSI/eDP, 2 x MIPI-CSI supporting 2M Pixel camera and 8M Pixel camera, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2.

Dimension of board is 56.5 x 66 mm and the price starts on 69 EUR (UP CORE 2GB RAM/32GB eMMC).

UP core doesn’t contain ethernet connector, but the ethernet interface is connected to high-speed 100-pin connector.

There is 100 pin I/O high-speed expansion connector with UART, SPI, 2 x USB HSIC, PCI-Express, GPIO, Intel Sensors Hub, SDIO and 5V Power.

UP Core supports Windows 10, Windows 10 IoT, Linux (Ubuntu…) and Android.
