BananaPi W2 – 2x SATA, USB3.0, 2x Gbps ethernet, PCIE, eMMC

Armbian showed a pictures of Orange Pi 3 Plus. Now, BananaPi released a pictures and info about BananaPi-W2. It is really powerful single-board computer. So, we can wait for two interesting a powerful single-board computers.

As I mentioned in title, it contains a lot of different interfaces.

The heart of board is Realtek RTD1296 processor, Quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 with Mali T820 MP3 GPU. More info about this processor, which contains Gbps ethernet, 2x SATA, 2x USB 3.0 you find here . The amount of RAM is 2GB and the type is DDR4.

The BananaPi-W2 contains these interfaces:

– PCIE 2.0 interface.PCEe 1.1&SDIO

– support 2 SATA interface

– MicroSD slot supports up to 256GB expansion

– 8G eMMC flash (option 16/32/64G)

– Mini DP

– 2 port 10/100/1000 Mb Ethernet port

– (1) USB 3.0 and (2) USB 2.0,otg port

– 1080P high-definition video playback

– HDMI In/Out

– TYPE C interface

WiFi module can be connected through PCIe, the same like 2G, 3G, 4G network for cellular.

Now are supported OS like Android 6.0, Debian 9, Raspbian and Ubuntu 16.04.
