Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32S3 packs a dual-core ESP32-S3 with 8 MB PSRAM and 8 MB flash into a thumb-sized format. The extra memory is useful for audio, voice recognition or simple machine learning.
The Sense version adds a detachable camera, a microphone and a microSD slot.
Specifications
ESP32-S3 : 2× Xtensa LX7 up to 240 MHz, 8 MB PSRAM
8 MB flash
Wi-Fi 4 (2.4 GHz) and Bluetooth 5 (LE), external antenna (U.FL)
11 GPIO on the headers plus more pads on the bottom, 9 analog and 9 touch inputs
UART, I2C, SPI and PWM, USB-C with native USB
Li-Po cell charging, orange LED on GPIO21 (lights up at logic 0)
3.3 V output up to 700 mA, 21 × 17.8 mm
The headers have the same layout as the other XIAO boards. The pads on the bottom break out additional GPIO (on the Sense version, some of them are used by the camera).

Pins used on the board
These chip pins are used by parts on the board and are not broken out:
Pin Function on the board GPIO0 Button B (BOOT) GPIO21 User LED (lit at logic 0)
What to watch out for
The GPIO are not 5V tolerant. Use a level shifter for 5V signals.
GPIO19 and GPIO20 are USB D− and D+ – do not use them as GPIO.
Wi-Fi barely works without the antenna connected.
Under heavy load (Wi-Fi, camera), the board gets noticeably hot.
Only connect a 3.7 V Li-Po/Li-Ion cell to the BAT pads.
