Officially Raspberry Pi Foundation releases Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 (unofficially here and here).
As we could expect, the main components are the same like in Raspberry Pi 3.
The processor of CM3 is 10x more powerful than originally CM1.
Compute module 3 will be available in two version – CM3 and CM3-Lite (without 4Gbytes eMMC Flash) and the price is $30 for CM3 and $25 for CM3-Lite
CM3 and CM3-Lite:
– Multiple GPIO interfaces on 2 60 way 0.1? Headers
– 1 x Micro USB connector type B ? USB Slave
– 1 x USB connector type A ? USB Host
– 2 x CSI ports for camera boards
– 2 x DSI ports for display boards
– Full size HDMI port
– Micro USB power connector
– Micro SD connector
CM3:
– Broadcom BCM2837 processor
– 1Gbyte LPDDR2 RAM
– 4Gbytes eMMC Flash
– 35u hard gold plated IO Pins
CM3-Lite:
– Broadcom BCM2837 processor
– 1Gbyte LPDDR2 RAM
– 35u hard gold plated IO Pins
